TIGA, the games in the UK trade association, presented their recommendations to the tax relief games for the British government TODAY ' Today. Following government approval earlier this year to maintain tax relief (as provided in Canada, France and the United States) TIGA has called for a flat rate of 30% to save the nation from the gaming industry fight.
TIGA also suggested an alternative payment in installments, with 30% for projects costing less than £ 250,000 (just under 400,000), and 25% for those who are more expensive. TIGA proposal includes recommendations for post-release costs are covered, eligibility for educational games and support for free-to-play games based and in-game advertising.
TIGA believes that the proposed model can carry more than 4,500 jobs in the gaming industry in Colombia over the next five years and increase yields nearly $ 0.5 billion euros.
