Latest trailer from Ninja Theory 'upcoming Xbox 360 and PS3 action adventure game is shrinking release window.

In the new trailer this week (see below), publisher Namco Bandai revealed that the studio 's upcoming PS3 and Xbox 360 game Enslaved: Odyssey of the West is set for early October.

Located in a postapocalyptic America, the play tells the story of the slaves forced to work together for survival. That's the main hero of the game ', muscular Monkey, is captured by slave traders, together with techno-savvy woman Trip. Pair flee, but a trip hacks slave headband connect his life with Monkey ', forcing him to defend it, as they sought refuge.
The game was inspired in part of Chinese mythology, and includes elements common to many of these procedures in popular culture, including the staff-wielding, cloud riding Monkey King was accompanied by a young man on a journey to the west. Gamers may be familiar with aspects of the story with games such as Capcom 's SonSon, much appreciated Saiyuki: Journey West, or a series Dragon Ball.
Like Heavenly Sword before him, Enslaved: Odyssey of the West will be submitted to Andy Serkis (Gollum in the Rings films), with the actor, providing voice work and motion capture for the Monkey. The studio also enlisted the talents of Hollywood to handle the game 's history, with 28 days later writer Alex Garland processing script. Although Enslaved will Garland 's first scenario game, it' s not quite familiar with the intersection of the two media. Previously, he was a screenwriter for flooded Neill Blomkamp Halo movie .
