05/21/2010 Top Gun Takes PSN, Mac and PC in the danger zone this summer
Paramount has announced a new Top GunGame development at doublesix, ready to attack PSN, Mac and Windows PC this summer. Described as "free-flying air combat shooter," in the press release promises "large-scale battle battle", where players jump into the pilot Maverick 's F-14, after his journey from Top Gun academy in the Indian Ocean. Top Gun won't be a strictly solo affair, either -- five multiplayer modes, supporting up to 16 players online, will also be included.

Screenwriter Jack Epps, Jr. will return to the Top Gunthe world, is expanding the movie 's events in the game. "What Jack Epps, Jr. on board, we again 'happy to deliver new Top GunArcade experience that relates to a popular movie, "said John Cavanagh, vice president of games at Paramount. Sounds fine to us, but we swear, Mr. Epps, unless you do not fit 'volleyball scene into the game somewhere, we're probably going to write you a tersely-worded letter explaining our disappointment.
